EASYPACK Longthread Screw 6G x 5/8 inch [16mm] [PACK 20]
Replacement for traditional wood screws in the assembly of modern cabinets and furniture and are specifically designed for use on chipboard, particle board, foam core boards and MDF. Longthread screws also be used with plastic or fibre wall plugs in masonry.

Product Information
How to use: Measure the total thickness of the materials to be fastened. Choose a screw long enough to provide approximately 20mm of thread penetration into the chipboard or wood to which the material is being fastened. Fit a #2 Phillips drive bit to a power screwdriver set to to low speed, approximately 800rpm. Place screw onto drive bit and place at point of fastening. Push sharply on screwdriver to create a starting point, ensure that there are no gaps between the 2 boards being fastened. Drive screw home until the head is flush with surface.
